The Prime Minister conveyed his sentiments in response to an official statement released by Britain’s royal family on [X platform], informing about the king’s health condition.
In his message, Prime Minister Modi stated, “I join the people of India in wishing speedy recovery and good health to His Majesty King Charles III.”
According to Buckingham Palace, diagnostic tests conducted after the king underwent a hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement revealed the presence of cancer. As a result, King Charles III has commenced a regimen of regular treatments and will temporarily withdraw from public duties.
The statement from Buckingham Palace emphasized that the 75-year-old king chose to disclose his diagnosis to dispel any speculation and to foster public understanding, particularly for those impacted by cancer.
