As the much-anticipated release of “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” approaches, the buzz surrounding the film intensifies. With Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles, the film, directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, has garnered considerable attention. However, recent reports on sacnilk.com reveal a lukewarm response in its advance booking collections.
According to sacnilk.com, the film has accumulated ₹93.66 lakh from advance bookings for its first day. Despite this, it has managed to sell 43,250 tickets across India, indicating a promising turnout expected on the opening day. Notably, regions like Delhi NCR and Mumbai have shown a particularly high demand for tickets.
In recent developments, “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” underwent modifications mandated by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Bollywood Hungama reports that the CBFC ordered an ‘audio medication’ and a reduction in the duration of a particular intimate scene by 25%, resulting in a nine-second censorship. The scene, initially 36 seconds long, has now been trimmed to 27 seconds.
Moreover, the CBFC has requested the replacement of the word ‘daru (alcohol)’ with ‘drink’ in the second half of the film. Additionally, the filmmakers were instructed to incorporate an anti-smoking static message in Hindi with larger and more readable fonts. With these alterations, “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” secured a U/A certificate from the CBFC on February 2.
