In a momentous event that underscores the government’s commitment to fostering traditional medicine and providing employment opportunities to the youth of the state, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, distributed appointment letters to 393 newly selected Homeopathic pharmacists. The event was marked by the Chief Minister’s resounding proclamation that India has taken a significant leap in the field of traditional medicine.
Speaking at the occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised the state government’s remarkable achievement of providing jobs to more than six lakh youths over the past six years. He emphasized the collective dedication and energy of these young individuals, believing it has the potential to transform Uttar Pradesh into a developed and prosperous state.
“The recruitment process in Uttar Pradesh has seen a significant transformation under the leadership of the BJP government,” stated the Chief Minister. “Unlike the past, where recruitment results took one-and-a-half to two years, the Subordinate Services Selection Commission has streamlined the process, delivering results within 6 to 9 months. These recruitments are conducted under a fair and transparent selection procedure.”
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also highlighted the state’s growing prominence as an employment hub. He mentioned the success of the Global Inventors’ Summit held in February 2023, where the state received investment proposals worth ₹38 lakh crore. This influx of investments is expected to create job opportunities for more than one crore youths, positioning Uttar Pradesh as a leading destination for employment generation within the country.
The Chief Minister lauded the tremendous strides made in the field of traditional medicine in India, particularly under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “India has taken a significant leap in the field of traditional medicine,” he declared. “With the formation of the Ministry of AYUSH, which combines Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Siddha, and Homeopathy, traditional medicine in India has been given a new identity.”
Furthermore, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced the establishment of an AYUSH University in the state, aiming to offer degree and diploma courses in various AYUSH disciplines. This initiative is a significant step towards promoting traditional Indian healthcare systems and fostering education and research in these domains.
