Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reaffirmed his government’s unwavering commitment to the development of Naimisharanya, drawing inspiration from the successful model of Ayodhya. He emphasized that funds would not be a constraint in realizing this ambitious vision.
During his visit to Naimisharanya in Sitapur district, Chief Minister Adityanath addressed a gathering of saints and priests, outlining his government’s dedication to rejuvenate the sacred pilgrimage site, Naimish Tirtha, through a comprehensive development initiative.
He underlined the significance of restoring the Vedic and mythological glory of the region, which had been neglected and deprived of development opportunities despite its proximity to the capital, Lucknow.
In his address, Chief Minister Adityanath revealed that several initiatives were already in motion to enhance connectivity and accessibility to Naimisharanya. Notably, work is progressing rapidly to introduce electric bus services. Furthermore, plans are underway to initiate helicopter services that will link Naimisharanya with Lucknow, making it more convenient for pilgrims and visitors.
However, he also acknowledged that the ongoing development efforts are just the tip of the iceberg. Much more remains to be accomplished in the grand scheme of things to fully realize the potential of Naimisharanya as a spiritual and cultural hub.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s visionary approach is poised to usher in a new era of prosperity and reverence for Naimisharanya, aligning it with the illustrious stature of Ayodhya. The state government’s commitment to the holistic development of Naimisharanya echoes its dedication to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Uttar Pradesh.
