Yogi Govt gears up to organize roadshows at divisional headquarters

Aimed at turning the state of Uttar Pradesh into an economy of $ 1 trillion as envisioned by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state government has geared up to organise roadshows at divisional headquarters.

To garner maximum investment in the Global Investors Summit being held in the state capital from February 10 – February 12, from local entrepreneurs, businessmen and industrial groups, the roadshow will be organized by the UP State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA).

After achieving the investment target of more than Rs 1 lakh crores, the authority will organise roadshows at the divisional headquarters on the instructions of CM Yogi.
Industrial Development Minister Nandgopal Nandi will be the chief guest of each road show.

UPSIDA signed MoUs worth Rs 1,00,000 crores

The UP State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) was given a revised investment target of Rs 1 lakh crore, which has already been met. All the major industrial groups have signed MoU with the authority management for investment. UPSIDA’s Chief Executive Officer Mayur Maheshwari informed that UPSIDA’s industrial areas have a land bank of more than 15,000 acres. So far, MoUs with various institutions involving an investment of Rs 1,00,000 crore, have been signed.

Road shows will be organized in following divisions:

January 15: Prayagraj
January 16: Varanasi
January 19: Agra
January 20: Meerut
January 22: Kanpur
January 23: Ayodhya
January 24: Bareilly
February 02: Jhansi
